Hi, I'm Princess Peach and just like my video game character namesake, I'm ready for an adventure and am awaiting my hero to rescue me so we can live in your castle happily ever after!

Due to my previous history The Oregon Humane Society Behavior and Training team is helping me learn to be comfortable out in the big wide world, learn more about that by clicking here and reading my What to Expect handout. I've already learned how to sit, stay, walk on a leash, and even some basic agility!

I am your typical Border Collie I love fetch, tug, and herding anything in the shape of sheep, including dogs, cats, and small children. I would do best in a home as the only dog.

It may take a while for me to get comfortable around new human friends, but once I am I love climbing in a lap for pets and belly rubs! Otherwise, I like to just watch and observe.

I am learning how to live as a pet dog in a home and it may take a few months for me to understand what it means to live alongside a human, especially with potty training: I have previously been allowed to eliminate on potty pads, but with consistency I do know how to hold it for outside. We can work on this together. I am perfectly crate trained.

I may be small for my age, but I am ready for some adventures, on leash of course. I am on the running team and love going for runs! I would do best in low traffic home and quiet neighborhood. The busyness of downtown is very scary for me right now.

To make sure we're the best fit my caretakers and trainers will chat with you before we meet, to ensure we're the right match! From there, they will teach you everything I know so we can best communicate.

What're you waiting for? Let's go!
