What my friends at OHS say about me:

  • I'm in a foster home right now, but I'm still available for adoption! Come into the shelter to learn more about me and schedule a meet and greet appointment!
  • Meet Swiftie, a sweet and shy older girl who knows shelter life "All Too Well". She initially entered our care in January of 2024, and let's not take her "Back to December". Make her "Wildest Dreams" come true and take her home!
  • Fearful Behavior: Swiftie needs time to feel safe in her new environment. She will need a calm and patient environment with lots of hiding spaces to help her "Shake It Off". If you take things slow, you can wipe the teardrops off her guitar and get her in her best dress, fearless!
  • Handling Sensitivity: Swiftie is a "Delicate" cat, she can be sensitive to being picked up and handled. If you respect her boundaries and let her love on her own terms, you will not have any "Bad Blood"!
  • Swiftie is noted to be quite a playful girl in her foster home. In her book, string toys never go out of style!
  • Swiftie has been diagnosed diabetes , she will need daily insulin and long-term management. To support her, we will provide support for Swiftie's diabetic condition for one year post adoption at our Community Vet Hospital, including medications, rechecks and lab work. Talk about a love story!
  • Helping me lose weight will allow me to live my best life!

The type of home I'm looking for:

  • I can be picky when making feline friends. Slow introductions and having my own space will be important for me to adjust to a home with resident cats.
  • I would prefer to live in a dog-free home.
  • It could be with you! Click here to learn about the adoption process.
