• I have been working with the Behavior and Training team here at OHS for consistency and am looking for a special home. It will take time and patience to get to know me. You'll need to meet with me multiple times before taking me home.
• To learn more about my specific needs, please read my What to Expect handout.
• I am a sensitive and reserved pup, I am still learning to trust people.
• Shy and Nervous: I can be worried about new people, new surroundings and touch. I prefer to take things at my own pace and will need to live in a calm environment.
• I really love the company of other social and playful dogs. Have you ever thought "I need a dog for my dog." Well, that's me!
• House Training: I have a history of housetraining struggles as I learn to be an indoor dog. A Securely fenced yard will help me best!
• I have lived with other dogs in my last home.
• I have lived with cats in my last home.
• I would much prefer a leisurely sniffari walk than joining you for anything fast paced.

The type of home I'm looking for:

• I would flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.
• I need to go to a home where there is another dog to help boost my confidence and to play with!
• I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
• I need to go to an adult only home. The unpredictability and fast movements of children frighten me.
• I must go to a home with a fenced in yard.

Meet and greets with pets are done on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby.
