What my friends at OHS say about me:

• I'm in a foster home right now, but I'm still available for adoption! Come into the shelter to learn more about me and schedule a meet and greet appointment!
• I got big cheeks and I cannot lie! Those other kitties can't deny!
• I may be shy at first, but once we get to know each other I will shower you with love!
• My foster family say that I'm sweet, lovable, playful and all around a great kitty! When I get comfortable, you can find me playing with toys, on a lap getting pets, napping around the house or running my purr motor.
• Handling Sensitivity: I can get overwhelmed by overhandling, restraint or touch. I am particularly sensitive about my hind end being touched. I may exhibit my discomfort in a variety of ways and will need to go to a cat savvy home.
• Overstimulation: Once I'm comfortable with my people I can get a little worked up and mouthy when I get petted a lot. I will need an owner who is familiar with feline body language, some hands off playtime, and a calm environment.

The type of home I'm looking for:

• I am FIV+ and I need to live indoors only.
• My history is a mystery. My friends here at OHS don't know if I've ever lived with other animals or children.

• Interested in adopting two cats? Submit questionnaires for each one, and mention interest under "is there anything else you'd like information on when you arrive?" You'll be invited to meet both pets, if available. Otherwise, we'll help you find other great options during your visit.

Meet and greets with pets are done on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby.
