Hi there! My name's Moxie, I'm 4 years young and I'm the sweetest girl you haven't met yet!

My friends here have told me I'm the best of both worlds. Looking for a friend you can take on long strolls through the park? That's me! Looking for a couch potato? Once I've gotten my energy out, I love to snuggle, I just can't get enough of my favorite people!

I'm quite a playful girl when I want to be! Squeaker toys are my absolute favorite, but I'm always up for a game of fetch too! I even had fun playing with another dog that visited my foster home!

I am a very happy gal around people I know, but I can be shy with strangers and nervous in new situations. Give me some time, patience, and love, and I promise I'll warm up and give you plenty of love in return!

I've been working on my leash manners (what can I say, I'm just so excited to go outside!) - maybe you could help me learn?

I'm currently in foster care, so if you'd like to get to know me, send my friends here a message and we can set up a time to meet up! The best part? At our Salem Campus, meet and greets are done on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby.
