• I have been working with the Behavior team at OHS and I'm looking for a special home. It will take time and patience to get to know me. Click the "meet me" button to start the process and schedule an appointment.

• Escape Artist: I am learning to be comfortable in the world, when startled I could squeeze through a gap in the fence or open door. Keep a tight grip on that leash and supervise me when outside until I'm comfortable.
• Shy and Nervous: I may do best with an owner who has had experience owning or caring for shy and fearful dogs.
• I would much prefer a leisurely sniffari walk than joining you for anything fast paced.
• I will need consistent grooming and care so my coat can stay healthy and clean! This means frequent trips to the groomers.
• I really enjoyed living with other dogs in my last home!
• There is a 100% chance I will make you fall in love with me OR melt your heart.

The type of home I'm looking for:

• I would flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.
• I may do best in a home where there is another dog to help boost my confidence.
• I will need to meet any canine companions prior to getting adopted.
• Loud noises and unpredictable movements can make me uncomfortable, I would do best in a home with calm, older children.

Meet and greets with pets are done on a first-come, first-served basis.

When you come to the shelter and see a pet you are interested in meeting, take note of the pet’s name and visit the front desk in the lobby.
