Shelter Hours
| Hours for viewing pets | Public viewing is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m daily. |
| Hours for meeting with pets | OHS Portland and Salem campuses are open for walk-through viewing 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week. Meet and greets are done on a first-come/first-served basis from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily. |

| Donation drop-offs | Donations can be brought to the main lobby at both locations from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Thank you! |
| Spay & Save appointment drop-offs | If you have a Spay & Save appointment at OHS Portland Campus, drop-off hours are from 8 to 8:30 a.m. The Animal Medical Learning Center lobby (west entrance) is open for Spay & Save drop-offs before the rest of the shelter opens to the public. Please arrive on time! |
Outreach Locations: Off-Site Adoptions
OHS has two shelter locations, one located in NE Portland and one in SE Salem, and is not affiliated with any other local shelters (such as county animal services).
OHS does offer pets for adoption at partner locations throughout the Portland and Salem areas for the convenience of prospective adopters. When a pet for adoption is located at an outreach partner, this will be noted in the pet’s profile on our website.
